Delivering Hope and Healing: Aion Health’s Mobile Medical Clinics in Kalia, Kpawula, and Niagorehun Bargbo

Aion Health SL’s Mobile Medical Clinics have delivered free healthcare to over 650 patients in Kalia, Kpawula, and Niagorehun Bargbo. With support from Ole Cup, YES GYSD, DHMT-Bo, and the Ministry of Health, services included malaria testing, maternal care, family planning, and free medications. In Niagorehun Bargbo, we also piloted drone delivery of maternal kits to improve access in remote areas.

In many parts of rural Sierra Leone, access to healthcare remains a daily challenge. Communities in Bagbo Chiefdom, such as Kalia, Kpawula, and Niagorehun Bargbo, face long distances to health centers, a shortage of trained medical professionals, and limited access to essential medicines. At Aion Health SL, we believe health is a human right—and through our Mobile Medical Clinics, we bring life-saving healthcare directly to the people who need it most.

Our Vision

The Aion Health Mobile Medical Clinic initiative seeks to:

  • Reduce maternal and infant mortality

  • Strengthen preventive healthcare, health education, and screening
  • Collaborate with public and private partners to build a resilient community health system
