Aion Health,a Sierra Leonean non-profit, tackles high maternal and infant deaths by deploying mobile clinics staffed by volunteers. These clinics deliver free healthcare services, including consultations, medications, and education,directly to underserved and remote communities. Aion Health prioritizes the specific needs identified by these communities, focusing on maternal health,family planning, and preventing the spread of diseases. Through their dedicated network of volunteers, both medical and non-medical, Aion Health strives to make a lasting impact and build a healthier future for all Sierra Leoneans. Malaria accounts for a large proportion of death and disease in Sierra Leone with more than 2.5 million cases and over 6,800 deaths reported in 2019. CDC We prioritizes the needs of the patient especial pregnant women and children and the well-being of the community focusing on community health, WASH, community awareness, and mobile health clinics.

Aion Health’s Solar Health Kiosks are innovative, off-grid solutions designed to bring essential reproductive health services and life-saving vaccines to hard-to-reach communities. Powered entirely by solar energy, these kiosks provide a clean, reliable space for antenatal care, family planning, and immunizations. Each unit supports cold-chain storage for vaccines, private consultations for women and girls, and real-time health data collection. By bridging energy and healthcare gaps, we are advancing maternal health and protecting communities—one solar-powered kiosk at a time.
